Exploring Abandoned Mountain Towns at Cumberland Gap National Park

Before our journey to Glacier National Park in the advent of fall and winter we visited Cumberland Gap National Historic Park for one more summer camping trip right on the border of Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky. And this time we were joined by Robbie's cousin on the other side of his family and our good friend Danny. It was a classic summer backpacking trip, though not without its hiccups.
