Exploring Sapporo Japan
Feb 9, 2020
Waking up to a beautiful morning in Wakkanai, the northernmost city in Hokkaido, Japan, I got on a train to head back south, first stopping in Sapporo. Once I got to Sapporo, I had the afternoon to check out the city. I started by heading to the Sapporo Clock Tower, the oldest building in the city. I then headed to the Sapporo TV Tower. After that, I went to the fish market, which turned out to be relatively uneventful. Then I headed to the Toyohira River, which was the most quintessential Japanese riverside one could imagine. After that, what trip to Sapporo could be complete without a visit to the Sapporo Beer Museum? I tried their three different beers and then headed to the train station to take a train back to Hakodate, where I would stay the night before heading back further south to Tokyo. And thus ended my trip to Japan.
