Hiking, Camping and Canoeing Disaster on the Manistee River

After a night spent in the woods we awoke to sights and sounds of a serene woodland landscape. Moss and mushrooms covered every stone and log. And the canopy flowed in the late summer breeze. It was good to be back on the trail for our first backpacking outing since the road trip.
